Following the screening of the Opening Night Film at the Castro Theatre , 429 Castro at Market, you are invited to join the IndieFest staff and this year's filmmakers at Balazo Gallery, 2183 Mission at 18th, on February 2. The party starts at 9pm and will feature great DJs, short films in the screening room, drunken Jeopardy, performances by Shadow Circus Creature Theater and complimentary food and drink. Our Opening Night Party is always one of the best parties of the year! The party is 21 up.
We love films, and we also love a good party! In addition to the hot Opening Night Party, we've got parties planned for every night of the Festival!
On Friday Feb. 3 and Friday Feb 10 join IndieFest and sfist.com for after parties at Dalva, 3121 16th St. $2 off any beverage with an IndieFest ticket stub.
The Third Annual Big Lebowski Party takes place Saturday, Feb. 4 at ArtSF, 110 Capp Street, 5th Floor. The party starts at 9p and lasts till they kick us out. Come dressed as your favorite Lebowski character! Free admission with any IndieFest ticket stub or just $5. 18up.
On Saturday Feb 11 the IndieFest after party is at El Rio, 3158 Mission Street, with 3 Up Front, The Amazing Embarrassonics, (the best karaoke band on the planet), and Rock and Roll DJ Fernando! Doors at 8pm; Show at 9pm. $9 regular admission, or 4$ with any IndieFest ticket stub. Tommy's Margarita Specials! 21up.
The IndieFest Closing Night Party on Sunday Feb. 12 will take place at 12 Galaxies, 2565 Mission Street, with live performances by Hot Mute, Gooferman and Turn Me On Dead Man. Plus Church of Elvis DJs Bishop and Moonshine and the IndieFest Award Ceremony. Show starts at 9p. $5, Free with any IndieFest ticket stub, $2 Sierra Nevada, 21 up. Please join us as we draw the curtain on another Festival!
